Swimwear in UV-protective fabrics

Selected styles in our swimwear collection are made from fabrics with UV-protective properties that help reduce exposure to the sun’s UVA and UVB rays on the areas covered by the fabric.

The UV-protective properties come from a special knitting method as well as treatment of the fabric itself. For extra coverage, you’ll also find hummel UV suits and UV T-shirts with longer sleeves and legs – ideal for long days by the water.

hummel® UV suits and UV T-shirts

A hummel® UV suit is perfect for younger boys and girls, as it covers exposed areas such as shoulders, arms and thighs. With a UV suit, your child gets extra coverage during play by the water.

You can also choose a hummel® UV T-shirt if your child prefers wearing regular swim trunks or swim shorts underneath. A UV T-shirt or suit can also be used beyond the beach and pool. Many children also use hummel® UV swimwear for everyday summer activities, such as playing in the garden or going on outings with family.

Swimsuits and bikinis for girls
