HUMMEL SIGNS WORLD CUP WINNER LUKAS PODOLSKI

He has played 130 games for the German national team. And scored 49 goals. He has won the Bundesliga with FC Bayern München. The FA Cup with Arsenal. The Turkish Super Cup with Galatasaray. The Japanese Emperor’s Cup with Vissel Kobe. And he lifted the World Cup trophy in 2014.

His name is Lukas Poldolski – and from January 2022, he’ll be joining the Danish sportwear brand hummel as its new global football and brand ambassador. The German legend has penned a five-year contract, which will see him become a central figure in hummel’s global marketing campaigns the upcoming years. 

hummel CEO Allan Vad Nielsen said: “Lukas Podolski is a fantastic signing for us. He has achieved so much in his career, but more importantly, he has also been extremely influential for the global football and not least the youth culture – especially in Germany.”

Lukas Podolski started his professional career at his childhood club FC Köln in the German Bundesliga and became quickly known for his powerful and dangerous left foot. Today, he plays for hummel side Górzik Zabrze in the best Polish football league.
